Empirical Investigation of Critical Requirements Engineering Practices for Global Software Development

There is a need to identify requirements engineering (RE) practices that are important global software development (GSD) project success. The objective of this paper report our recent empirical study results which aimed the RE GSD projects. This used an online survey questionnaire elicit data from 56 experts included 66 identified by Sommerville et al. for non-GSD participants were asked rank each practice on four-point scale determine degree importance in context research set six key mainly focuses stakeholders, scope, standards and traceability management.
